Illinois Redistricting

Welcome to the Illinois legislative redistricting website. The redistricting process is vital to our democracy, designed to reflect the population of Illinois as it has evolved over the past decade.

We have developed this site in order to provide to the public basic information about the redistricting process. Here you will find information on public hearings, the redistricting timeline, links to relevant material, and much more.

At the end of May 2011, the General Assembly approved maps for state legislative, Congressional and Cook County Board of Review districts. The maps were signed into law by Governor Quinn in June 2011, and became Public Acts.Click here to view the adopted maps and data.

We want to thank you for your participation and encourage your further input in this important process.
